Quiksilver will be celebrating a collaboration with The Baitshop at their space in Toronto (directions here) on August 6th. Check the press release below for all the details and be sure to swing by if you’re in the GTA.
QUIKSILVER X BAITSHOP COLLABORATION LAUNCH PARTY
On Saturday, August 6th at 7pm the Quiksilver X Baitshop Collaboration will be released with the Fall 2011 Quik Skate Collection line. There will be a mini-ramp jam at 8pm with tons of prizes along with special guests from the Quiksilver skate team.
The entire skate collection along with limited amounts of the collaboration product will be available at The Baitshop for the month of August.
“The ‘Hold Fast’ – Baitshop X Quiksilver collab is rooted in the central theme of sticking to your guns and staying true to your roots; in a turbulent action-sports industry, it’s important to maintain focus and push through the storm. It’s been wicked working with a company as dedicated to board sports throughout the years as Quik has been, and we’re stoked to not only be operating in a collaborative capacity but also showcasing the new Quiksilver Skateboard Collection in our space.”
—Ken Chong / Baitshop Co-Owner
“It’s always a pleasure to work with the Baitshop. This collaboration really encompasses what the Skate Collection is all about. With the past successful collab with Uprise Skateshop in Chicago and now The Baitshop in Toronto, along with the release of the full-length Quik Skate film in 2012, everything is headed in the right direction.”

Watch Erick’s full video submission (which includes his L.A. cut featuring Paul Rodriguez, Shane O’Neill and more) by clicking right here.
As a lead-in, take a look at his cut of Toronto footy for the project. It features Dillon Moore, TJ Rogers, Kevin Tio, Jon Cos, Brandon “Beaster” Bandula, Jordan Moss (who also helped film), Brandon Del Bianco, Mitch Donovan, Max Fairley and Cole Hacker.
