Berrics and Valentic Unite Again
Friday, July 8th, 2011Toronto’s Erick Valentic first put Minor Media on the map with a big YOUnited Nations contest win in 2010 (which led to that crew appearing on The Berrics numerous times). He’s been on Steve Berra’s radar ever since and was recently invited down to L.A. to take part in Aberrican Originals – a Levi’s Film Workshop Project that coincides with the Museum of Contemporary Art’s exhibit called Art In The Streets. Watch Erick’s full video submission (which includes his L.A. cut featuring Paul Rodriguez, Shane O’Neill and more) by clicking right here.
As a lead-in, take a look at his cut of Toronto footy for the project. It features Dillon Moore, TJ Rogers, Kevin Tio, Jon Cos, Brandon “Beaster” Bandula, Jordan Moss (who also helped film), Brandon Del Bianco, Mitch Donovan, Max Fairley and Cole Hacker.

Thursday, March 31st, 2011Real‘s very anticipated Since Day One will premiere at 7pm this Saturday, April 2nd in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. It’s free, and you’ll find the locations of the Canadian premieres right here. Naturally there are afterparties for the 19-and-olders (18ers if you’re in MTL). Before the premiere, ‘Couver will also play host to Real’s Justin Brock, Peter Ramondetta, Ishod Wair and James Hardy for an autograph sesh at 5pm (details here). Speaking of Ramondetta, here’s a little 666 treatment from him as a warm up to Since Day One.
No premiere in your town? Don’t fret, the Collector’s Edition DVD and iTunes download will be good to go for rollers the world over on April 11th.
