Powell’s young team of rail-killers came to Vancouver on the Easter Weekend. Team riders Derek Elmendorf, Jordan Hoffart, Josh Hawkins, Dallas Rockvam and Aldrin Garcia hit Railside skatepark on Saturday April 11th. With rain earlier in the day, the park was still slippery. Aldrin, who was outside of America for the first time, said that he had a good time skating PoCo’s Railside park even in the poor weather.
The "after party" was swanky
Later that night, Boulevard Skate Shop was the host of the Powell FUN Video Vancouver premier. It didn’t take long for Boulevard Skate Shop to fill. Vancouver showed the Powell team a good time and they repaid us with a premier of the new video aptly named FUN.
FUN was so full of bangers that I found myself yelling and cheering the whole length of the movie. I recommend that if you haven’t seen this video, that you go buy it. For those who were lucky enough to see it at the Premier, you should still go buy a copy. I know that I’m going to watch it over and over.
